Canine Allergies 101

There are three main types of allergies common to dogs.

They are flea allergy, food allergy and environmental allergies.

Ear infections are also a classic symptom of allergies. It is estimated that about 70% of dogs with allergies get chronic ear infections, and for approximately 10% of allergic dogs, chronic ear infections may be the first or only symptom. Fortunately, once the allergies are controlled, the ear infections usually do much better.
